Dvojčata Tuttle a Medaile za zásluhy

The story flips the idea of fairness in a way that really got my nine-year-old thinking about sportsmanship, not just winning. I read it aloud in one sitting, and even I was curious how the meet would end. The lesson on merit versus equal outcome is handled cleverly without feeling preachy.

My kids actually argued about who got to read it first, which never happens with their school books. The way it flips the fairness concept on its head during the track meet really got them thinking.

The story flips the usual sports-day tale into a lesson about fairness that actually sparked a good debate at dinner. My nine-year-old loved spotting Ethan and Emily’s solution before the big twist, and the pacing kept even my reluctant reader hooked.
