Udforsk den frie verden: Den mirakuløse blyant

I was skeptical a book about pencils could teach economics, but the way it connects everyday items to free-market ideas is surprisingly clear. My kids actually grasped concepts like supply and demand after just one chapter. It’s a smart, engaging read that makes learning fun.

My ten-year-old actually asked me to re-read the part about how a simple pencil gets made—it finally clicked why trade matters. The storytelling makes complex ideas feel like a real adventure, not a lecture.

My kids kept asking where their toys came from, and this book uses a simple pencil story to explain that—it’s cleverly written and sparked real conversations around our dinner table. The hardcover is sturdy enough to survive being read at breakfast.
