Picked this up for my kid who’s into business stuff, and the way it uses a street-food rivalry to explain monopolies is surprisingly fun. The pages are thick and the illustrations break up the text nicely for a younger reader.

Really clever how it frames the old economic conflict through a street-food stand — made me see regulation in a totally new light. My teenager even picked it up and read half in one sitting.

I was pleasantly surprised how clearly it explains the clash between street-food vendors and established restaurants—the map of the old city really helped me visualize the turf war. It made me think about local politics in a completely new way.
